Marc Soucy
Other · Boston, United States
“Marc's composer studio is equipped with a huge array of virtual instruments, effects plugins, and sample libraries. In addition, because of Marc's long background as a keyboardist and synthesizer enthusiast, the studio is of course equipped with classic keyboards and alternative controllers for finger played percussion and polyphonic after touch affected synths in both the hardware and software realms.
In his teens, before Marc had yet learned what a blues scale or even regular chord changes were, he had already studied classical piano for over eight years. This fact predisposes him to approach music as a series of intersecting musical lines—melodies, countermelodies, harmonies, etc—rather than a series of chords, that being the predominant paradigm in the classical approach. The intersecting lines he creates form chords in many places—sometimes predictably, sometimes not—and tend to float over a binding figure, whether drums, a bass line, electronic pattern, or neoclassical motif.
It is common for him to take musical threads from various unrelated styles and find a way to make them play nicely together. One example he frequently uses is to have classical instruments play pop and funk figures instead of what’s expected. “What gives me the greatest pleasure is when this technique actually works. It’s really a satisfying part of my process.” All of this is done as already mentioned with electronic and digital musical instruments.”

“Neon Critter blends cinematic ambience with fractured beats and emotive synth work, carving out a unique space where the dancefloor meets the dreamworld. Inspired by the textural explorations of Overmono, the atmospheric depth of Jon Hopkins, and the sunlit warmth of Tycho, their music moves fluidly between ambient techno, breaks, and progressive electronica.
Each track is a journey through light and shadow, weaving chopped vocal fragments, driving percussion, and rich melodic layers into immersive soundscapes. Whether evoking a misty sunrise or a late-night city pulse, Neon Critter crafts emotionally charged, rhythmically dynamic music built for both introspection and movement.”

“What is SoundBits and who else is in the team?
Well, that’s me Saro Sahihi, that guy in the mirror and a worldwide network of wonderful, professional partners, distributors and friends.
I’m not 100% sure about the actual date of birth of SoundBits. It must have been somewhen around the year 2011, though working in the audio-field started out several years before.
There never was a longterm plan or targeted destination – only a feeling, too strong to resist. So, I had to follow and submissively obey to the feelings’ – sometimes weird – orders.
You don’t want that feeling to get mad, so I kept it satisfied. Even if it meant to jump in at the deep end most of the time.
In hindsight that feeling was a magnificent guide, a golden thread throughout my career…. Meanwhile we’re good friends.
Anyway, SoundBits and I, we stand on 3 main pillars.
#1 is all about recording, editing and designing high quality Sound Effects Libraries for whatever opportunity or idea pops up.
These libraries are then sold in the SoundBits | Shop and spread all over the world through my strong partners and distributors,
such as Pro Sound Effects, A Sound Effect, Sonniss, Unreal Marketplace and many more.”

Given the option of the creation of themes as a society, and, citizens. The effect of fear by the affection of dreadGrooving sound.
In the ever-evolving landscape of music, a new wave of creativity is emerging. Artists at Sketching Digital aim on a myriad of techno structures, weaving intricate swings and moods that breathe fresh life into the genre. This aesthetic journey redirects old-fashioned techno into a new dimension, where tradition meets innovation. Each beat, each rhythm, is a testamento to the boundless possibilities that techno holds. The fusion of classic elements with modern twists creates a soundscape that is both familiar and groundbreaking. It’s a symphony of the past and the future, a dance of nostalgia and novelty.”

“Started out playing in punk bands around Chicago in the ’90s, then discovered I could make an entirely different kind of racket with a Yamaha SU-10 sampler.
A lot of the early “production” happened in coffee shops, followed by long sessions riding around in hotboxed Volkswagens listening to tracks and arguing about what sounded good.
Influences somewhere in the orbit of Underworld, Richie Hawtin, Tiësto, Nathan Fake, James Holden, Prodigy, and the stranger corners of ’90s electronic music. My ear always drifts back to the warmth of this era(s).
Still interested in the same things I was then: repetition, tension, noise, melody, machines behaving badly, and that moment when a track stops sounding assembled and starts sounding inevitable.”

“dalaitom, is an enigmatic artist whose musical journey began at the tender age of 5 when he first laid hands on the piano keys, has since become a maestro in the realm of soundscapes. Hailing from a lineage of musicians, dalaitom's innate passion for music was nurtured from an early age, guiding him towards the pursuit of musical excellence. His formative years were marked by rigorous training and exploration, leading him to pursue formal studies in music at the college level. It was during this time that dalaitom's artistic identity began to crystallize, as he delved deep into the realms of composition and sonic experimentation.”
