Push it till it growls
A saturated 24 dB ladder and a 12 dB state-variable filter in one. Audio-rate OSC 2 FM and noise route straight into the cutoff; crank the resonance and it self-oscillates like real hardware instead of sounding sterile.
A deep, characterful analog-modeled poly: envelopes that charge like real capacitors through resistors, a screaming dual-character filter, and a real tape echo — on a self-evolving engine that runs identically across every plugin format and every device you own.

DRC is an 8-voice analog-modeled poly with a screaming dual-character filter, real tape echo and a self-evolving modulation core — running identically on every desktop format and every device you own.
Built around a single C++ engine that ships unchanged from VST3 on a laptop to Standalone on a phone. Patches move between platforms bit-for-bit, so the sketch you make on the train sounds exactly the same back in the studio.
Envelopes that charge through resistors, a filter that self-oscillates like hardware and a real in-loop tape echo. Analog feel as a consequence of the engine, not a label.
LFO2 frequency-modulated by LFO1, one-shot LFOs that double as envelopes, six waveforms each across 21 sync divisions — sounds that breathe, accelerate and evolve on their own.
Mod wheel and aftertouch each routing to seven destinations, channel + polyphonic aftertouch, full MPE for ROLI / LinnStrument / poly-AT keys, 22 scales plus tap-to-build custom.
A single codebase across VST3, AU, AUv3 and Standalone on macOS, Windows, iOS and Android. NKS-native with 678 tagged presets. Build on a laptop, finish from a tablet.
That's what DRC stands for. Its envelopes charge like real capacitors through resistors; its filter behaves like a real RC network. The analog character the press singles out is a consequence of how the engine actually works.
A saturated 24 dB ladder and a 12 dB state-variable filter in one. Audio-rate OSC 2 FM and noise route straight into the cutoff; crank the resonance and it self-oscillates like real hardware instead of sounding sterile.
Two delay lines with a 0.48 Hz wow and 19.47 Hz flutter, plus a saturator and highpass living inside the feedback loop. Repeats warble, darken and tip into dub-style self-oscillation — and follow your playing in tune.
PreGain drives a saturation, per-voice analog detune adds organic drift, and a switchable vintage noise floor finishes the picture. The harder you push, the more it gives back.
DRC's second LFO is frequency-modulated by its first — one modulator continuously changing the speed of another. Add one-shot LFOs that double as envelopes, band-limited wavetables feeding a constantly- modulated resonant filter, and up to eight octaves of pitch mod, and you get patches that breathe, accelerate and evolve on their own.
A saturated 24 dB Moog-style ladder and a 12 dB Chamberlin state-variable filter — five modes in a single circuit. Seven sources hit the cutoff, including audio-rate OSC 2 FM and noise. Resonance saturates into musical self-oscillation.
Two band-limited wavetable oscillators (SAW · SQR · TRI · SINE), a tracking sub, ring mod and hard sync. Alias-free from deep bass to the top of the keyboard.
Two exponential ADSRs with bipolar attack- and release-velocity. Play harder for snappier attacks — and on env 2, turn the whole contour upside-down with full invert.
PreGain-driven soft-clip saturation, a true tape echo, a modulated allpass reverb and a dual-LFO chorus (ANA / DIM) — calibrated to feel like outboard, not afterthought.
One BANDWIDTH knob sweeps noise from colored rumble to full white. Route it — or OSC 2 — straight into the filter for metallic, organic grit.
Poly, Mono and Unison over an 8-voice engine with smart voice-stealing and per-voice analog detune. 22 scales plus a tap-to-build custom scale, a 5-mode arpeggiator, portamento and legato.
Mod wheel and aftertouch each route to seven destinations at once — cutoff, resonance, LFO2 rate, vibrato, osc & filter mod, pitch. Channel + polyphonic aftertouch and full MPE for ROLI, LinnStrument and poly-AT keys.
Build a patch in VST3, AU or AUv3 on your laptop, then open it on iPhone, iPad or Android and hear it identically. Sketch on the train, finish in the studio, perform from a tablet.
A registered Native Kontrol Standard library for Komplete Kontrol and Maschine — browse and play hundreds of tagged sounds straight from the hardware. Rare for a synth that also runs on phones.
On Android, a built-in recorder and sample player are first-class engine objects — capture a jam, loop it, scrub it, export it. No DAW required.
The same parameter set everywhere means the patch format itself is portable: move a sound between platforms and the engine reproduces it exactly.
A curated set of DRC preset demos — pads, bass, leads, arps.
Best on headphones, or anything that reproduces low end honestly.

A wide variety of DRC patches inspired by the mystery of the depths of space. Alien organisms, deep space travel, colossal ships, barren foreign landscapes and more. Here you will find patches ranging from the alien sounding to the deep cutting useful sounds.

On a mission to innovate rather than imitate, Imaginando has built a solid reputation for releasing products that excite musicians and producers, offering new ways to maximize creativity.
DRC is a unique synthesiser plugin from Imaginando that not only sounds great but has an extra special feature that makes it incredibly useful for the producer on the go.
Seriously, the ability to program a bunch of patches on the go and then use those same patches in a desktop DAW environment (and vice-versa) is a huge improvement to my music making workflow.
Verified students and educators get 50% off DRC and the bundle — same features and updates.
