A qualified architect, who practised for 8 years in different agencies, Tekyes moved into the field of audio­visual design, specialising in digital special effects for cinema, advertising and videoclips. In parallel with his work as a video director and editor, effects specialist and colour grader, for more than 20 years he has been practising the art of veejaying, creating a live mix of his original visual compositions in synchronisation with music. He has performed in a variety of contexts including clubs, pop­up events, festivals and concert venues, accompanying a wide variety of French and international DJs, as well as live bands. ARTISTE DIGITAL RECYCLING & RELOOKING MEDIA. He creates his compositions through his concept of “media recycling and restyling” , drawing from his wealth of visual material in all formats and using multiple graphic and video tools. A master of combining multiple visual layers, his work is based on the principle of the “multimix” . A magician of images, he brings back to life a variety of static or moving source material, in the process creating a new reality. He also combines visual creation with audiovisual production for brand marketing. He develops his art under the label “visual designer and performer”.
